CHAPTER 275.

AN ACT for the relief of Rebecca Cresap, by re-
|
|
|
funding State and county taxes erroneously paid.
|
|
Appropriation
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
|
|
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury, is
hereby directed to issue his warrant on the Treasurer
|
|
|
in favor of Rebecca Cresap of Allegany county, for
|
|
|
the sum of forty-eight dollars and fifty-four cents, for
|
|
|
moneys erroneously paid by her as State taxes in
|
|
|
Allegany county.
|
|
Levy and pay
|
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the County
|
|
|
Commissioners of Allegany county, are hereby au-
|
|
|
thorized to levy and pay to said Rebecca Cresap, the
sum of two hundred and twenty-three dollars and
|
|
|
eighty-five cents, for money erroneously paid by her
|
|
|
as county taxes in said county.
|

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this act shall
|
|
|
take effect from the date of its passage.
|
|
