CHAPTER 274.

 

AN ACT to repeal sections one, two, three, four,

 

five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven,, twelve,

 

thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen,

 

eighteen, nineteen, twenty and twenty-one, of

 

article three of the Code of Public Local Laws,

 

title " Baltimore county," sub-title " roads," passed

 

at the January session, of the Legislature of eigh-

 

teen hundred and" seventy, chapter three hundred

 

and nine, and to re-enact the same with amend-

 

ments so as to read as follows :

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Repealed and

Maryland, That sections one, two, three, four, five,

re-enacted

six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen,

 

fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nine-

 

teen, twenty and twenty-one, of article three of the

 

Code of Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore county,"

 

sub-title " Roads, " passed at the January session,

 

of the Legislature of eighteen hundred and seventy,

 

chapter three hundred and nine, be and the same are

 

hereby repealed, and re-enacted so as to read as

 

follows :

 

SEC. 2. And be zt enacted, That the County Commis-

sioners of Baltimore county, shall at their first meet-

 

ing in January, eighteen hundred and seventy-six, and

 

at their first meeting in January of every second

 

year thereafter, appoint for each election district of

 

Baltimore county, three competent, sober, discreet

 

and trustworthy persons residents of said county, and

 

of the election district for which they may severally

 

be appointed, to act as Road Supervisors of that dis-

 

trict, for the term of two years, or until their suc-

 

cessors are appointed and qualified.

 

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the supervisors thus
appointed in each district, shall constitute a Board
