SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of Bal-

timore, be and they are hereby authorized, to accept

a deed or deeds of conveyance of and to hold certain
|
 
|
property, not exceeding thirty acres, lying on or near
|
 
|
Charles street avenue in Baltimore county, from the
|
 
|
heirs of Samuel Wyman Esq., late of Baltimore
|
 
|
county deceased, from the Peabody Heights Com-
|
 
|
pany of Baltimore, and from William Remington
|
 
|
Esq., of Baltimore county, to be held and used only
|
 
|
for and as a Public Park, provided said deed or deeds
|
 
|
of conveyance, be executed and delivered before the
|
 
|
expiration of two years from the date of the passage
|
 
|
of this act.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Mayor and
|
 
|
City Council of Baltimore, be and they are hereby
|

provement, maintainance and regulation of said park;
and the Park Commissioners of said Mayor and City
|
 
|
County Council of Baltimore, shall have in respect

to any park that may be established under this act,

the same police powers, and the same authority
|
 
|
to make rules and regulations for the government of
|
 
|
the same, as now exist in them in respect to Druid
|
 
|
Hill Park.

SEC 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
