CHAPTER 269.

AN ACT to amend an act passed at January session,

eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, chapter three

hundred and thirty-three, entitled an act to incor-

porate the Savings Institution of Sandy Spring,

Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Amended

Maryland, That the act of January session, eighteen

hundred and sixty-eight, chapter three hundred and

thirty-three, entitled " an act to incorporate the

Savings Institution of Sandy Spring, Maryland," be

and the same is hereby amended, by adding thereto

the following additional sections :

Quorum

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That eleven of the Direc-

tors of the Savings Institution of Sandy Spring,

Maryland, incorporated by the name of the Savings

Institution of Sandy Spring, Maryland, be and are

hereby constituted a quorum for the transaction of

business; and the acts of eleven Directors of this

institution shall be of the same force and virtue in

law, as if a majority of the Board of Directors were

present.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.
