CHAPTER 246.

 

AN ACT to provide for indexing the land and

 

chattel records of Baltimore county.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That the Clerk of the Circuit Court for

Baltimore county, be and he is hereby authorized to

 

cause a general index to the land and chattel records

 

in his office, to be made under the system known as

 

the " Campbell System," now in use in Frederick

 

county, and shall be entitled to receive therefor, the

 

«um of five cents for each name in which said indexes

 

are made, to be paid for by the County Commis-

 

sioners of Baltimore county, in monthly payments

 

as the work progresses, on the certificate of the

 

Circuit Court for said county, that said work has been

 

properly performed.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the County Com-
