pealed, and the following is hereby enacted in lieu

thereof:

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That two of the Directors

AN ACT to refund to Isaiah Canter, the sum of four

dollars and twenty-five cents, erroneously paid into
|
 
|
the Treasury.
|
 
|
WHEREAS, it appears from the books of the Comp-
|

troller, that upon settlement it has' been found that
|
 
|
the balance of four dollars and twenty-five cents has
|
 
|
been overpaid by Isaiah Canter into the Treasury,
|
 
|
therefore —
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That the Treasurer be authorized and
|

directed to pay upon the warrant of the Comptroller
|
 
|
the said sum of four dollars and twenty-five cents to
|
 
|
Isaiah Canter.
