CHAPTER 234.

AN ACT to amend an act entitled an act to ineor-

porate the National Co-operative Business Agency

Company, chapter one hundred and ninety-nine,

of the acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,

passed the thirty-first of March, eighteen hundred

and seventy, to change the name and title thereof

to that of The National Business Adjuster Com-

pany, to reduce the capital stock thereof, and to

revise, re-enact and continue in force the provi-

sions of the said act.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Name changed

Maryland, That the name of the National Co opera-

tive Business Agency Company, is hereby changed

to the name of the National Business Adjuster Com-

pany, and the said National Co-operative Business

Agency Company, shall hereafter be known by the
name of the National Business Adjuster Company,

and under said name, shall have and succeed to all

the rights, privileges, powers and property of the
said National Co-operative Business Agency Com-

pany, and shall be subject to all the debts, engage-
ments, contracts and liabilities of said last named

company.

Capital stock

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the capital stock

reduced

of said company be and the same is hereby changed

and reduced to an amount not less than ten thou-

sand dollars, to be fixed upon by the company, which

may be paid up in the time and manner provided by

the act to which this is a supplement, commencing

with the date of the passage of this act.

Amended.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said act, as

hereby amended, is revised, re-enacted and con-

tinued in force.

effect from the date of its passage.
