Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered

The House bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 36 of
Public General Laws, entitled 'Attachments,' and to re-enact
the same with amendments, increasing the amount of the ex-
emption in said section mentioned."

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

Mr. Billingsley called up

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of
money for the support of Colored Schools in this State."

Mr. Fields moved to refer the bill to the Committee on
Finance.

Which was determined in the affirmative.

The hour of 12 o'clock having arrived, the order of the
day, being the order submitted by Mr. Stevens relative to the
report of the Committee to whom had been referred the memo-
rial of the City Passenger Railway Company.

On motion by Mr. Stevens,

The order of the day was postponed for 10 minutes.
Mr. Stevens moved to reconsider the vote by which

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 811 of Article IV. of the Public
Local Laws of the city of Baltimore, entitled 'Police,' and to
repeal all Acts and parts of Acts inconsistent with the provi-
sions of this Act,''

Had been recommitted to the Baltimore City Senators.
Which was adopted.

Said bill was then read the third time and passed by yeas
and nays as follows :
