hereby incorporated in the name of the trustees of

the Masonic Hall and Church in Bel Air, in Harford
|
 
|
county, and they and their successors forever are
|
 
|
hereby authorized to take and hold the lot and build-
|
 
|
ing thereon, in tlic town of Bel Air in said county,
|
 
|
which was heretofore conveyed by the Justices of
|
 
|
the Levy Court of Harford county, to John McKen-
|
 
|
ney, Israel D. Maulsby, James Pannell, and Samuel
|
 
|
Bradford.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said corporation
|
 
|
shall hold said lot and building in trust for the use
|

of Mount Ararat Lodge, number forty-four, Ancient

Free and Accepted Masons; and for the purposes of
|
 
|
religious worship, shall have the full control of the
|
 
|
same; may regulate the use thereof, and apply the

rents, issues and profits thereof to the repair preser-

vation and improvement of said property; may sell
|
 
|
the same and execute a deed in fee to the purchaser
|
 
|
thereof, whenever said Mount Ararat Lodge shall so

determine, and invest the proceeds of the sale thereof

in the purchase of another lot in the town of Bel

Air, and the erection of a building thereon for the
|
 
|
use of said Mount Ararat Lodge and for religious
|
 
|
worship, the said last mentioned lot and buildings
|
 
|
thereon to be held by said corporation with the same

|
powers as the lot and buildings mentioned in first
|
 
|
section of this act.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said trustees or
|
 
|
survivers or surviver of them may fill any vacancy
|

that may occur by death, resignation or removal from

the county, if any member of this corporation : and
|
 
|
that said trustees by their corporate name as afore-
|
 
|
said, may sue and be sued, contract and make by-
|
 
|
laws for their government and action, and take and

convey property for the purposes aforesaid.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
