CHAPTER 209.

AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council
|
 
|
of Baltimore, to issue the bonds of the City of
|
 
|
Baltimore, to an amount not exceeding the sum
|
 
|
of four millions of dollars, to provide means for
|
 
|
introducing the waters of the Gunpowder River.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of Bal-
|

timore, be and it hereby is authorized to issue

|
bonds, in addition to any water stock heretofore au-
|
 
|
thorized, to an amount not exceeding the sum of
|
 
|
four millions of dollars, as provided for in an ordi-
|

nance of the said Mayor and City Council, entitled

"an ordinance to provide means for the introduction
|
 
|
of the waters of the Gunpowder River, in order to
|
 
|
furnish an additional supply of water to the City of
|
 
|
Baltimore, " " approved on the twelfth day of Feb-
|
 
|
ruary, eighteen hundred and seventy -four, and ac-
|
 
|
cording to the terms, conditions and provisions of
|
 
|
said ordinance and for the purposes thereof."

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this act shall take

CHAPTER 210.

AN ACT to repeal section eighty-one, of article
|
 
|
twenty, of the Code of Public Local Laws, re-
|
 
|
lating to Talbot county, sub-title " Easton," and
|
 
|
to re-enact the same with amendments.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That section eighty-one, of article twenty,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Talbot
|
Repealed and
re-enacted
|
county, be and the same is hereby repealed, and re-
|
 
|
enacted so as to read as follows :
