Senate bill entitled "Au Act to repeal section 172 of Article
XCIII. of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to Tes-
tamentary Law, and to re-enact thesame with amendments/,'

a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to enlarge the powers
conferred upon the Archbishop of Baltimore,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to extend an Act entitled
'An Act to incorporate the Borden Mining Company, passed
at December Session, 1846, chapter 318, for the period of
thirty years,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled "Au Act to provide for additional
compensation to Charles E. Hayward and Sewell J. Mill-
bourne of Dorchester county, and to John W. Crisfield of
Somerset county, for professional services,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Mr. Claggett, from a Select Committee, reported

The House bill entitled "An Act to repeal an Act to incor-
porate the Hagerstown Hose Company, and to amend and re-
enact the same,"

With the following amendment :

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Sec. 1, line 2, strike out ''seventy," and insert "twenty.''
Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time.
Mr. Tuck, from a Select Comnittee. reported

The Senate bill entitled "'An Act to provide for the ap-
pointment of a Treasurer, and a more economical collection
of taxes in Anne Arundel county, and to repeal section 105
of Article II. of the Code of Public Local Laws for said county,
and to enact the following in lieu thereof."
