pensation to be derived from the sale of said bonds,

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this act shall not

act, by a majority of said voters at such corporate

election, this act shall forthwith go into full effect

CHAPTER 195.

AN ACT in relation to public roads in Cecil county,

and to repeal all acts or parts of acts inconsistent

with the provisions of this act.

SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of

Repair of the
public roads

Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Cecil
county, be, and they are hereby authorized and

empowered, in their discretion, to contract for the

mending and keeping in repair of the public roads

in the several election districts of said county, by

offering at public auction to the lowest bidder, the

right and power to mend and keep in repair the

public roads in said county.

Plat or list of

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said County

public roads

Commissioners shall cause to be made and filed in

the office of the Commissioners for said county, a

plat or list of all the public roads in the several

election districts of said county, showing the length

of each of said roads as near as may be necessary,

to enable the said Commissioners to execute and

carry out the objects and purposes of this act, and
