with carriages or other vehicles, to or from any

cemetery, may be interfered with, unless the author-

ities of the church to which said cemetery belongs,

shall first assent to the leasing of the same; nor

shall the bed or beds of any of said streets leading

to any wharf be leased, unless the owner or renter of

said wharf shall first assent to the leasing of the

same.

effect from and after the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 190.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County

Commissioners for Harford county, to subscribe to

the capital stock of turnpike companies in Harford

county.

SECTION 1. Se it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the County Commissioners for Har-

ford county, be and they are hereby authorized and

empowered to subscribe to the capital stock of any

turnpike company already organized, or hereafter to

be organized, in said county, in the name and for the

benefit of said county, a sum or sums of money, not

to exceed in any case five hundred dollars for each

mile of road that may be made in said county, and a

by any company, hereafter to be organized.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the County Com-
