CHAPTER 184.
|
 
|
AN ACT to authorize and require the County Com-

missioners of Washington county, to levy and pay
|
 
|
to Daniel Weisel of Washington county, the sum
|
 
|
of three hundred dollars, as additional compensa-
|
 
|
tion for professional services in the cases of the
|
 
|
State versus Mary B. Rowland, and the State ver-
|
 
|
sus Charles Carroll, removed from the Circuit Court
|
 
|
for Washington county.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Wash-
|
 
|
ington county, shall and they are hereby authorized
|

and required to pay to Daniel Weisel of Washington
|
 
|
county, (appointed by the court as assistant counsel
|
 
|
for the State), the sum of three hundred dollars, as
|
 
|
additional compensation for professional services
|
 
|
rendered in the cases of the State versus Mary E.
|
 
|
Rowland, and the State versus Charles Carroll, re-
|
 
|
moved from the Circuit Court of Washington county
|
 
|
to Alleghany county, and the said County Commis-
sioners of Washington county are hereby further
|
 
|
authorized and required to levy upon the taxable pro-
|
 
|
perty of Washington county, a sum sufficient to pay
|
 
|
the said sum of three hundred dollars, to carry into
|
 
|
effect the object of this act.
