ceedings and a just account of their receipts and dis-

bursements, in a book or books to be provided for
|
 
|
that purpose, and their treasurer shall once in every
|
 
|
year exhibit to the Synod of the Potomac of the Re-
|
 
|
formed Church in the United States, an exact state
|
 
|
of the accounts of the corporation.
|
May receive
|
SEC, 11. And be it enacted, Than the said corpora-
|
 
|
tion may take, receive, purchase, possess and enjoy
|
 
|
messuages, houses, lands, tenements, rents, annuities
|
 
|
and other hereditaments, real and personal estate of
|
 
|
any amount not exceeding ten thousand dollars
|
 
|
yearly value, but the said limitations are not to be
|
 
|
considered as including the annual collections and
|
 
|
voluntary contributions made in the churches, under
|
 
|
the care of the said Synod of the Potomac of the
|
 
|
Reformed Church in the United States.

ENTITLED AN ACT to enlarge and extend the

powers of the College of Physicians and Surgeons
|
 
|
of the City of Baltimore.
|
Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, the College of Physicians and Surgeons
of the City of Baltimore, a highly prosperous and
|
 
|
popular medical college, chartered and incorporated
|
 
|
under the general incorporation laws of this State,
|
 
|
desire to have their powers thereunder enlarged and
|
 
|
extended, therefore —
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That the College of Physicians and Sur-
|

geons of Baltimore, incorporated under the General!

|
Laws of this State, by charter duly recorded amongthe
|
 
|
records of the Superior Court of Baltimore city, in
|
 
|
which appear the names of Harvey L. Byrd, M. D.,
|

Thomas Opie, M. D., Peter Goodrick, M. D., John
|
 
|
S. Lynch, M. D., William W. Murray, M. D., and
|
 
|
E. Lloyd Howard, M. D., as the incorporators there-
