acts passed at January session, eighteen hundred and

sixty-four, provides that the donations granted to
|
 
|
schools and academies in the several counties of this
|
 
|
State, shall be equalized so as to give twelve hundred
|
 
|
dollars to each county, therefore —
|
 
|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
Appriation
|
Maryland, That the Treasurer of this State, upon the
|
Garrett county
|
warrants of the Comptroller, shall pay annually on
|
 
|
the first Monday of July, to the Board of School
|
 
|
Commissioners for Garrett county, the sum of twelve
|
 
|
hundred dollars to be applied to the Public School
|
 
|
Fund of said county, until such time as the said
|
 
|
Board of School Commissioners shall establish a high
|
 
|
school as provided by the General School Laws of this
|
 
|
State, from and after which time it shall be applied
|
 
|
to the maintenance of such high schools.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|

of Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the sanction of the General Assem-

bly of Maryland, be, and the same is hereby given to
|
 
|
the bequest in the last will and testament of John H.
|
 
|
Yingling, late of Westminster, Carroll county, State of
|
 
|
Maryland, deceased, to the Trustees of the Methodist
|
 
|
Protestant Church of Westminster, Carroll county,
|
 
|
Maryland, the same being one thousand dollars, for
|
 
|
the purpose of purchasing a parsonage for the use of
|
|
|
