Mr. Walsh moved to postpone the further consideration of
the bill until Thursday next, and make it the order of the
day for 12 o'clock,

Which was determind in the affirmative.
On motion by Mr. Stevens, it was

Ordered, That the bills of the Senate and House of Dele-
gates, relating to "Police" for Baltimore city, be recommit-
ted to a Select Committee consisting of the Senators from Bal-
more city.

The order of the day being Mr. Stevens order in relation
to the report of the Committee on the Baltimore City Pas-
senger Railway,

Was considered, and postponed until to-morrow at 12
o'clock.

Senate bill entitled "An Aet to establish a State Board of
Health,"

Being on second reading,

Mr. Davis submitted the following amendment:

Strike out the words "fifteen hundred," and insert
"seven hundred and fifty," in 5th line of 4th section.
