the Code of Public Local Laws of said county, to be

 

entitled, sales of spirituous or fermented liquors, and

 

the said act shall take effect on and after the first day

 

of May, eighteen hundred and seventy-four.

Duty of the

SEC. 177. And be it enacted, That it shall be the

county, to give this act in charge to the Grand Jury

 

at their respective terms, in the years eighteen hun-

 

dred and seventy-four and eighteen hundred and

 

seventy-five.

 

SEC. 178. And be it enacted. That all laws incon-

sistent with the provisions of this act, when approved

 

of by a majority of the voters of Worcester county,

 

be, and the same are hereby repealed.

In force.

SEC. 179. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 164.

 

AN ACT to protect wild fowl in Worcester county.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Prohibition

Maryland, That no person shall, -during the hours

 

intervening between twilight at evening and twilight

 

of the following morning, shoot or kill, or shoot at,

 

capture with nets, by fire-light, any wild fowl with-

 

in the limits of Worcester county.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That no person shall, at

at any time, kill or shoot at any wild fowl within the

 

limits of Worcester county, with any swivel or pivot

 

gun, or any kind of gun which cannot be convenient-

 

ly discharged from the shoulder at arms length and

 

without a rest.

 

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That any person who
