CHAPTER 151.

AN ACT to repeal section twenty, of chapter three
|
 
|
hundred and twenty-two, of the acts of the Gen-
|
 
|
eral Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
|
 
|
session, eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, entitled
|
 
|
"an act to incorporate the Worcester and Somerset
|
 
|
Railroad Company."
|
Repealed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That section twenty, of chapter three
|
 
|
hundred and twenty-two, of the acts of the General
|
 
|
Assembly, passed at the January session, in the year
|
 
|
eighteen hundred and sixty-seven, entitled "an act
|
 
|
to incorporate the Worcester and Somerset Railroad
|
 
|
Company, be, and the same is hereby repealed.
|
 
|

CHAPTER 152.
|
 
|
AN ACT to legalize the bequest made by William
|
 
|
Thomas Syers, to St. Patrick's Church of Cumber-
|
 
|
land, Allegany county, Maryland.
|
Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, William Thomas Syers of Allegany
county, deceased, did by will bequeath to St. Patrick's
|
 
|
Church at Cumberland, the sum of fifty dollars,
|
 
|
therefore —
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
Sanction given
to bequest of
|
Maryland, That the sanction and assent of the Gen-
eral Assembly, is hereby given to the said bequest,
|
 
|
of the said William Thomas Syers, and the executor
|
 
|
or executors of the last will and testament of said
|
 
|
William Thomas Syers, are hereby authorized to
|
 
|
pay over to Rev'd. Edward Brennan, pastor of the
|
 
|
said before mentioned church, the said sum so
|
 
|
bequeathed.
