SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 153.*

 

AN ACT to refund to Daniel F. Stouffer of Washing-

 

ton county, the sum of forty dollars paid by him

 

into the Treasury, on or about the thirteenth day of

 

June, in the year eighteen hundred and seventy-

 

one.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller be, and he is hereby

to Daniel F

authorized and directed to issue his warrant to the

Stouffer.

Treasurer, to pay to Daniel F. Stouffer of Washing-

 

ton county, the sum of forty dollars out of any un-

 

appropriated funds in the Treasury.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passage.

 

*Became a law on the 4th day of April 1674, without the approval of the
Governor, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution, article 2,
section 17.

AN ACT supplementary to an act entitled " an act

 

to incorporate the Ridge Passenger Railway Com-

 

pany," passed March twenty-second, eighteen hun-

 

' dred and sixty-seven, chapter three hundred and

 

thirty-one.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Supplement.

Maryland, That the said Ridge Passenger Railway
