firmed and made valid, for the purposes therein
declared, and that the sanction of the General As-
sembly of Maryland be, and the same is hereby
given and declared to the above-mentioned bequest
of the said John Coates, deceased.

	CHAPTER 138.
	AN ACT to repeal section ninety-four, of article one
	of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Alle-
	gany county," sub-title "justices of the peace and
	constables," and to re-enact the same with amend-
	ments.
	SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Repealed and re-enacted	Maryland, That section ninety-four of article one of
	the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Allegany
	county," sub-title "justices of the peace and consta-
	bles," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
	enacted to read as follows :
	94. There shall be two justices of the peace for
	each election district now existing or hereafter to be
Justices of the peace and con- stables	created in Allegany county, and there shall be one constable for each of said election districts so exist-
	ing or to be created, and in the city of Cumberland
	there shall be in addition to one constable for each
	Cumberland district two constables at large.
In force.	SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall
	take effect from the date of its passage.
