Which was read and referred to Messrs. Tuck, Suit and
Fields.

Mr. Lloyd presented the petition from citizens of Talbot
county, to authorize the County Commissioners to erect fire
proof vaults in the Court House at Easton,

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Lloyd, McCulloh
and Walsh.

On motion by Mr. Brewer,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to report a bill to add an additional, section to Article
XVIII. of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Clerks of
Courts," authorizing said clerks to perform by deputy any
duty required of them by law.

On motion by Mr. Sevens,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to report a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section's 1, 7,
9, 10, 11 and 13 of the Act of the General Assembly of 1865,
chapter 130, entitled an Act to provide for the Registration
of Births, Marriages and Deaths and to re-enact the same
with au amendment."

Also,

Leave to the Committee on Corporations to report a bill
entitled "An Act to repeal the Act of Assembly of 1858,
chapter 13, passed February 10th 1858, entitled an Act
amendatory of the Act of Assembly passed at December
Session, 1834, chapter 87, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Trustees of the Education Fund, of the Baltimore Annual
Conference, and to re-enact the same with an amendment."

Also,

Leave to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings to report
a bill to authorize the sale or lease of certain property in the
eastern part of the city of Baltimore, belonging to the Society
of Friends in the said city.

On motion by Mr. B rattan,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Bratan, Aydelott and Tuck
to introduce a bill to prevent the catching and destruction of
fish in the waters of the Pocomoke River.

Also,

Leave to Messrs. Brattan, Tuck and Steiiier to report a bill
authorizing the Clerk of the County Commissioners, for
Somerset county to administer oaths in certain cases.
