'Testamentary Law/ sub-title 'Orphans' Court,' and to re-
enact the same with amendments."

Mr. Lloyd presented the petiton of one hundred citizens of
Talbot county, relating to the hawling of seines, &c.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Chesa-
peake Bay and its Tributaries.

On motion by Mr. Brattan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to report a bill to amend section 27 of Article X. of the
Code of Public General Laws, respecting the sale of attached
property.

Also,

Leave to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings to report
a bill to repeal section 67 of Article LI. of the Code of
Public General Laws, which was added by Act of 1868,
chapter 443, relating to liens of executions on judgements
of Justices of the Peace, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

On motion by Mr. Walsh, it was

Ordered, That the Committee on Judicial Proceedings
inquire into the expediency of providing for the conveyance
to the State of Maryland of the property known as the "Mary-
land Insane Asylum," at Spring Grove Baltimore county,
preserving the uses of the buildings and all appurtenances to
the President and Visitors of the Maryland Hospital, and
report by bill or otherwise.

Said order was referred to the Spring Grove Committee
heretofore appointed.

On motion by Mr. Lloyd,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Lloyd, Walsh and McCulloh
to report a bill to construct fire-proof vaults in the Court
House at Easton, Talbot county.

On motion by Mr. Brattan, it was

Ordered, That Hon. Andrew J. Crawford, have leave of
absence for six days on account of sickness in his family.

On motion by Mr. Fields,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Fields, Phelps and Claggett
to introduce a bill to repeal chapter 233 of the Acts of 1870,
with regard to the publication of county expenses and to re-
enact the same with amendments.

Mr. Tuck presented the petition of Elzabeth Mitchell, widow
