No. 36. An Act to confirm and approve an Act passed Jan-
uary Session, 1872, chapter 93, relating to Turnpike Road
Companies in Frederick county.

Mr. McCulloh, from a Select Committee, reported favorably
on

The House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 9 and
10 of Article I. of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating
to Allegany county, and to re-enact said sections with amend-
ments."

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Spencer, from a Select Committee, reported favorably
on

The House bill entitled "An Act to prevent the killing or
trapping of Grouse in Kent county, until the 20th day of
October, 1878."

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Claggett, from a Select Committee, reported favorably
on

The House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 54, 55,
56 and 57, of Article XXI. of the Code of Public Local Laws,
relating to Washington county, and to re-enact said sections
with amendments."

Which was read the second time.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act for the support and treat-
ment of indigent patients in the Baltimore Eye and Ear In-
stitute of Baltimore city, and the Maryland Eye and Ear
Institute,''

Being on third reading,

(Unanimous consent being given.)

Mr. Tuck submitted the following amendment:

Add at end of first section, "Provided that the appropria-
tions made by this Act shall be for two years and no longer."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
