The bill entitled an Act to extend the jurisdiction of the
Justices of the Peace of Baltimore City in civil cases,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Citizens' Sav-
ings Bank of Garrett county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrosaed for a
third reading.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following hills,
Severally endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays:"

The bill entitled an Act to re-district and re-number the
election districts in Garrett county.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act authorizing and directing the
State Librarian to furnish to the Faculty of Law of the Uni-
versity of Maryland certain law books.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to refund to Dr. L. C. Cox sums
of money erroneously paid as county tax, or authorize the
Commissioners of Talbot county to credit his county tax with
the same.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to prevent the carrying of guns,
pistols, dirks, dirk-knives, razors, billies or bludgeons by any
person in Kent, Queen Anne's or Montgomery counties, on
the days of election in said counties.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller to
settle the claims of Lawrence D. Dietz.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to approve an Act passed January
session, 1872, chapter 245, entitled an Act to authorize the
County Commissioners of Anne Arundel county to subscribe
to the capital stock of the Baltimore and Drum Point Rail
Road Company, as provided by section 54, of Article 3, of the
Constitution.
