Senate bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act enti-
tled an Act to incorporate the Frostburg Water Company,
passed January session, 1853, chapter 296, providing for an
increase of the capital stock of said Company for the purpose
of extending the water supply to the town of Frostburg, and
to issue coupon bonds and provide a sinking fund for the
payment of the same.

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the restoration of
certain ancient records in the office of the Register of Wills
of Anne Arundel county,

Which was read a second time.
Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to change the name of the
South Baltimore Chemical Works, incorporated by chapter
108, of the Act of the General Assembly of 1864, to that of
the Chappell Chemical and Fertilizer Company.

Mr. Merryman, Chairman of the Committee on Agricul-
ture, reported favorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 5, of chap-
ter 381, of the Acts of 1872, so far as it relates to Prince
George's county, entitled aa Act to provide for the destruc-
tion of hawks and owls, and to protect a class of small birds
in Prince George's, Talbot and Montgomery counties.

Mr. McColgan, from the Committee on the Judiciary, re-
ported without amendment,

The Senate bill entitled aa Act to repeal section 16, o.f
Article 29, of the Code of Public General Laws, title

''Courts," sub-title ''Judgments," and to amend and re-en-

The Senate bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction of
the General Assembly of Maryland to the devise and bequest
of Catherine Hoover, late of Frederick county, deceased, to

three Trustees and their successors, to be appointed by the
Virginia Annual Conference of the United Brethren Church
in Christ, and legalize the same .
