Which was read and referred to the Committee on Chesa-
peake Bay and its Tributaries.

On motion by Mr. Aydelotte,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Aydelotte, Getty and Spen-
cer to prepare and report a bill entitled "An Act to repeal
section 20 of chapter 322 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of 1867, entitled an Act to incorporate the Worcester and
Somerset Railroad Company."

On motion by Mr. Claggett,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Federal Relations
to introduce a bill to be entitled "An Act to provide for the
relinquishment to the United States in certain cases, of title
to, and jurisdiction overland for sites of light-houses, beacons,
and other aids to navigation, and for the protection of beacons,
buoys, and floating guides on the coast, and in the waters of
this State.

On motion by Mr. Blake,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Public Buildings to
report a bill to appropriate a sum of money to grade and
pave the street around the State House.

On motion by Mr. Tuck,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill entitled "An Act to amend the charter of the
Annapolis Savings Institution, and to add to the powers con-
ferred by its charter."

On motion by Mr. McCulloh,, ...

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill entitled "An Act to extend an Act to incorporate
the Borden Mining Company, passed at December Session,
1846, chapter 318, for the period of thirty years.

On motion by Mr. Lloyd,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill entitled "An Act to provide for the payment of a
certain sum of money to Charles H. Gibson, States Attor-
ney for Talbot county, for professional services rendered the

State."
