The proposed amendment was adopted as the title of the
bill, and said bill was then sent to the Senate.

The bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1868, chapter
224, entitled an Act to pay Elizabeth C. Dorsey, of Freder-
ick county, widow of Vachel W. Dorsey, who was a soldier
of the war of 1812 for the State of Maryland, an annual pen-
sion of eighty dollars during her natural life,
