Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Drum Point Rail Boad
Company.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bills.
Severally endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays:"

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor, Comp-
troller and Treasurer to settle the accounts of Charles E.
Maguire, late Weigher of Live Stock, and to compromise
with his sureties if in their judgment the same is advisable.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act appropriating a sum of money to
pay for certain buildings erected in connection with the
Washington University in. the City of Baltimore, and to
provide for the free education in said University of students
from the several legislative districts of this State.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to protect travellers on highways
in Baltimore county, at and near railroad crossings in said
county.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,
7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21, of
Article 3, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Balti-
more County," sub title "Roads," passed at the January
session of the Legislature of 1870, chapter 309, and to re-
enact the same with amendments, so as to read as follows.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to make valid the marriage be-
tween Joseph Owens and Eva Shepherd.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Montgomery
County Agricultural Society.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to protect partridges and grouse
in Somerset county.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 189, of the Acts
of 1872, relating to Salisbury Academy, and re-enaet the
same with amendments.
