The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to issue bonds to an amount not exceed-
ing the sum of four million dollars, to provide means for in-
troducing the waters of the Gunpowder River.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed at the
January session, 1870, chapter 315, entitled an Act to pro-
vide tor maintaining and keeping in repair the public roads
of Prince George's county, and to re-enact in lieu thereof the
following.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act for the benefit of Emeline Redue,.
widow of Joseph Redue, Solomon Scott and John V. Soloway.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act fo incorporate the Culvert Bank
of Baltimore City.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Bank of Denton,
in Denton, Caroline county, Maryland.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to amend further the Act entitled
an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Liberty Turnpike
Company in Carroll county, passed at January session, 1866,
and as amended by the Act of 1868, chapter 151, changing .
the name of said corporation to that of the Baltimore, Carroll
and Liberty Turnpike Road Company of Carroll and Freder-
ick counties, and to repeal sections 2 and 3, of the Act of
1870, chapter 232, and to te enact the said sections 2 and 3
with amendments.

The bill entitled an Act to pay P. T. Hambleton the sum
of forty-nine dollars.

Also, returned

The bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 81, of the Acts,
passed at January session, 1872, relating to catching oysters
with scoops in the waters of Dorchester county, and to re-
enact the same with amendments,

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays, with proposed
amendment:"

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

In section 3, third line, amend by striking out all after
the word "named," to word "by," in the 4th line.
