The House bill entitled "An Act to empower the Board of
Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Cumberland,
Maryland, to sell and convey a certain lot of ground in said
city."

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also,

The House bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 105 and
106, of Article III. of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
'Baltimore county,' sub-title 'Fences,' and sections 195, 196
and 197, of Article III. of the Code of Public Local Laws ,
title 'Baltimore county,' sub-title 'Trespass.' "

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Davis, Stevens and Fields.

Also returned,

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to amend the Act of the
General Assembly of 1872, chapter 196," entitled "An Act
to authorize the Comptroller of the Treasury to adjust and
settle the accounts due by Collectors, Sheriffs, Clerks, Regis-
ters and other receivers of public moneys, in cases where the
indebtedness accrued prior to and including the year 1869,
by repealing section 1 of said Act, and re-enacting the same
with amendments."

Endorsed : "Passed by yeas and nays."
