1100 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 26,

another Court for the City of Baltimore, as provided by the
41st section of the 4th Article of the Constitution, and to
substitute the following in lieu thereof.

Which was read a first lime and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following House
bills,

Severally endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays:"

The bill entitled an Act' to repeal section 16, of chapter
476, passed at the January session, 1870, entitled an Act to
provide for the creation and regulation of Incorporated Com-
panies in the State of Maryland, and to re-enact the same so
as to read as follows.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-euact with amend-
ments, chapter 182, of the Acts of 1853, entitled an Act to
incorporate the Trustees of the Masonic Hall and Church, in
Bel Air.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 40, of Article 11,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Frederick
County," as amended by the Act of 1868, chapter 7, and to
re-enact the same with amendments.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to fund the floating debt of the City of
Baltimore, as authorized or existing on the 31st day of Octo-
ber, 1873, to an amount not exceeding two million dollars.

Mr. Buchanan, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
with amendments,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to require all auctioneers
making sales in Baltimore county, to pay a license-fee.

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Section 1, in line 5, strike out "one hundred" before dol-
lars, and insert "fifty;" and in line 10, strike out "one
hundred" before dollars, and insert "fifty."

Said amendments were severally adopted, and the bill, as
amended, read a secend time.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 347, of the Acts
passed at January session, 1872, entitled an Act to repeal
sections 141, 142, 143, 144,145, 146, 147, 148, 149,150,
