said county for the purpose of purchasing a site on which to
erect a court-house and jail, and furnish the same,

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

At the end of section 2, add the words "and the said
County Commissioners are hereby prohibited, and it shall be
unlawful further to contract for said site or the erection of a
jail, or the erection and furnishing of said court-house and
offices, until the levy shall have been made for the several
purposes set forth in this section respectively.
