AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Strike out all after the word "time," in the second line,
and all before the word "in n the third line of section 1;
after the words "Elk River," insert "and North East River;"
in line 3, after the word "and," strike out the word "its"
and insert "their," in the same line, in lieu thereof; amend
title by inserting after the words "Elk River," "and North
East River."
The proposed amendments were severally read and adopted,
and the bill, as amended, read a second time.

vorably,
A bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the Trus-
tees of Primary School District, No. 104, of Frederick county,
to dispose of a school-house in said district.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 840, 841,
844, 845, 846, 847, 848, 849, 850, 855 and 861, of Ar-
ticle 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the City
of Baltimore, sub-title "Streets;" and the Acts of Assembly
of 1870, chapter 282, entitled an Act to repeal section 861, of
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "City of
Baltimore," sub-title " "Streets," and to re-enact the same
so as to read as follows; and chapter 322, of the Acts of
1870, entitled an Act to add additional sections to the fourth
Article of Public Local Laws, relating to the City of Balti-
more, sub-title "Streets," and to re-enact other sections in
lieu thereof.

Mr. Nicodemus, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 4 of an Act passed
January session, 1870, chapter 400, entitled an Act to au-
thorize the Frederick and Pennsylvania Line Rail Road Com-
pany to build a Railroad from Frederick city, the terminus
of the road, which it is authorized under its charter to build
through Frederick and Montgomery counties, to the boundary
of the District of Columbia, so as to make a District connec-
tion with the City of Washington, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
