The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Trustees of the
Providence Methodist Protestant Church, in Carroll county, to
sell and dispose of certain property therein mentioned.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on the Judiciary.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act for the relief of Noah Webster, of
Somerset county.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Ways and Means.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to authorize and require the
County Commissioners of Washington county to levy and
pay to Daniel Weisel, of Washington county, the sum of
three hundred dollars, as additional compensation for pro-
fessional services in the case of the State vs. Charles Carroll,
removed from the Circuit Court for Washington county.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Washing-
ton county delegation.

Also,

The hill entitled an Act to prevent non-residents from
catching or taking fish in the waters of Monie Bay, Monie
Creek or its tributaries, in Somerset county.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Somerset
delegation.

Mr. Greenfield, Chairman of the Committee on Internal
Improvements, (the rules being suspended,) reported favor-
ably,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland Canal
Company.

ably, from a majority of said Committee,

A bill entitled an Act to prevent stock from running at
large in Baltimore county, within one mile of the present
limits of Baltimore City, except in the 13th district of said
county.
