The bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Frederick county to build a new jail and a work-
house for Frederick county, to borrow money on the credit
of the county for that purpose, to issue bonds for the pay-
ment of the same, to levy and collect taxes for the payment
of such bonds and the interest on the same.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court of Montgomery county to place certain fees in the
hands of the Sheriffs of the several counties of this State, and
the City of Baltimore, for collection.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to authorize and require the Sur-
veyor of Washington county to survey all the public roads
hereaiter to be granted by the County Commissioners, to
make record thereof, and to make a record of all the public
roads heretofore opened by the County Commissioners, or
used as public roads by the public.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an Act
to incorporate the Bachman Valley Railroad Company, passed
at January session, 1870, authorizing and empowering the
President and Directors of said Company, gr a majority of
them, to issue the bonds of .the said Company to an amount
not exceeding $50,000,
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to add an additional sub-title and
section to Articled, of the Code of Public Local Laws of the
City of Baltimore, to be known under the title "Costs," and
as section one hundred and fifty-nine and a-half of said
Article.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
Board of Police Commissioners for the City of Baltimore to
purchase or lease ground in said city, and to have erected
thereon suitable station-houses, to have the title thereof
vested in the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, and to
pay the costs and expenses thereof out of the special fund of
the said Board of Police Commissioners.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Baltimore
City delegation.
