1034 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 24,

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Produce Ex-
change and Wharf Company of Maryland,

Being upon its second reading,
Mr Keech submitted the following amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

SECTION. 8 And be it enacted, That the General Assembly
hereby reserves to itself the right to alter, amend or repeal
this Act at its pleasure; make section 8, read section 9.

The proposed amendments were severally adopted, and the
bill, as amended, read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the City Bank of
Baltimore,

Being upon a third reading,

Mr. McColgan submitted the following amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

SECTION 20. And be it enacted, That the General Assembly
may at any time repeal or amend this Act at pleasure; make
section 20, read section 21.

The proposed amendments were severally read adopted,
and the bill, as amended, passed by yeas and nays, as fol-
