810, 811 and 816, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore City, sub-title "Police," and to re-enact
the following in lieu thereof:

The Committee of Conference on the disagreeing votes of
the two Houses, on House Bill No. 56, entitled an Act to repeal
chapter 287, of the Laws passed at January session, 1870,
and to repeal sections 810, 811 and 816, of Article 4, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Baltimore City," sub-
title "Police," and re-enact the same with amendments, re-
pectfully report that they have agreed to the following amend-
ments to the bill as it passed the Senate, viz:

Insert the words "Mayor and" after "inspection of the,"
in line 17, seventh page of the bill.

Insert after the word "Baltimore," in line 18, seventh
page of the bill, the following, viz : "And either of them,
and it shall be the duty of the Comptroller of the City of
Baltimore to examine all bills and accounts presented by
said Board of Police Commissioners, and the vouchers there-
for."
