The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the
day,

On motion of Mr. Colton,
The House proceeded to the consideration of

The Majority Report of the Committee on Elections—
Brooke vs. Widdicombe.

Said Report and accompanying Resolutions being upon a
second reading,

Mr. Colton submitted the following amendment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Resolution 2, fill the first blank with the words "twenty-
second;" fill the second blank with the word "April."

The proposed amendment was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Colton,
A call of the House was ordered.
Present at the call of the roll, the following members :

members now in the city to give their attendance, and bring
them before the bar of the House.

All further proceedings under the call were dispensed
with.
