Article 10, of the Code of Public General Laws, title '' Attach-
ments," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Mr. Stake, Chairman of the Committee on Inspections, re-
ported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 15, of Article 153,
of the Act of 1872, entitled an Act to provide for the inspec-
tion, of steam boilers in the City of Baltimore, and re-enact
the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Greenfield, Chairman of the Committee on Internal
Improvements, rep rted favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore City to subscribe to the capital stock of
the Maryland Canal Company, or to endorse the bonds of said
Company.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Joyce, from the Committee on Militia, reported favor-
ably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 182 of the Acts
passed at the January session of the General Assembly of
Maryland, 1870, which was an Act to repeal chapter 414 of
the Acts of 1868, which was an Act to repeal Article 63 of
the Code of Public General Laws, relating to the Militia, and
sections 652 to 770, both inclusive, of Article 4, Code of Pub-
lic Laws of the City of Baltimore, relating to Militia, and to
re-enact the following in lieu thereof.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Stake, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to allow time to Wm.
McK. Keppler, late Clerk of Washington county, to com-
plete the records and other unfinished work in his office, at
the expiration of his official term, with proposed amend-
ments :

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend title of bill by inserting after the words "Wash-
ington county," "and Jesse K. Hines, late Clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court for Kent county ;" and after the word "in," strike
out "his" and insert "their;" and strike out the word
"office" and insert "offices;" and strike out the word
"his" and insert "their."
