The bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed at Jan-
uary session, 1872, chapter 355, entitled an Act to authorize
the issuing of licenses to Telegraph Companies and Express
or Transportation Companies not organized under the laws
of this State, to transact business therein, and to re-enact
the same with amendments, and to add the same to Article
56, of the Code of Public General Laws of this State,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 6 and 13 of an
Act passed at the January session, 1872, chapter 244, en-
titled an Act to authorize the appointment of Weighers of
Grain by the the Governor, and to re-enact the same with
amendments,

Being upon its second reading,
On motion of Mr. Matthews,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and said
bill made the order of the day for Tuesday next, 24th
instant.

Hon. Richard C. Hollyday, Secretary of State, delivered

No. 76. A bill entitled an Act to locate the county seat of
Garrett county.

No. 77. A bill entitled an Act to repeal section one of an
Act passed at the January session, 1872, chapter 131, en-
titled an Act for the better protection of oysters, clams, terra-
pins and fish in Synepuxent Bay and its tributaries, ill Wor-
cester county, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

No. 80. A bill entitled an Act to add additional sections
to Article 41, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Fish
and Fisheries," sub-title "Patuxent."
