leave to withdraw from the Committee on Ways and Means the
petition of shippers of poultry, &c., of Washington county,

gation.

On motion of Mr. Turner, of Baltimore county,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commis-
sioners of Baltimore county to grant a right of way through
the jail lot of said county to the Towsoatown Railroad and
Maryland and Pennsylvania Railroad Company.

On motion of Mr. McWilliams,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill for the relief of Peter Moss.

On motion of Mr. McAleese,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill for the payment of the claim of C. F. Miller, for
services rendered the State.

On motion of Mr. C. B. Hamilton,

Leave was granted to Messrs. C. B. Hamilton, Fen ton and
McAleese, to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter
287, of the Act passed January session,-1870, entitled an Act
to repeal section 810, of Acticle 4, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, chapter 367, passed at January session, 1867, title
"Baltimore City," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

On motion of Mr. Fletchall,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill to require pawn-brokers to pay a State
license.

On motion of Mr. Stake,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Berry, Annan and Galt, to
introduce a bill to regulate the rates of charges by the Balti-
more and Potomac Railroad on freight and passengers
through their tunnels, in the City of Baltimore.
