Mr. G. R. Hamilton, Chairman of a Select Committee, re-
ported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the payment of Lieu-
tenants, Sergeants, Policemen and Turnkeys of the Baltimore
City Police Force.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Gordy, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

A bill entitled an Act to prohibit trespassing with gun or
dog upon private land in Dorchester county, and prescribing
penalties therefor.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Agriculture.

Mr. Berry, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 102 and 103, of
Article 21, of the Public Local Laws, title "Washington
County," sub-title "Fish," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

A bill entitled an Act to create an additional election dis-
trict in Carroll county, to be styled the "13th Election
District."

Assembly of Maryland to the bequest in the last will and
testament of Alice M. Gittings, late of Cecil county, deceased,
to the Vestry of St. James' Church of Cecil county, Mary-
land.

favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to prevent the catching and destruc-
tion, offish in the waters of the Pocomoke River and Sound,
below the village of Shell Town, in Somerset county.
