Mr. Bird presented the petition of Patrick Gant, James
B. Morsel and sixty-one other citizens of Calvert county,
praying for a change in the Bastard Laws of the State.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.

Mr. Riley presented the petition to William Amos, of
Harford county, 83 years of age, asking to he restored to the
pension rolls.

Also,

The petition of Walker Fletcher, of Harford county, 82
years of age, asking to be restored to the pension rolls.

Which were severally read and referred to the Com-
mittee on Pensions.

Mr. Colton presented the petition of R. J. Marshall and
one hundred and fifty others, asking for a division of the
2nd election district of St. Mary's county.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Colton, Bond and
Lancaster.

Mr. Thompson presented the petition of Captain James
Todd and ninety-four other citizens of Dorchester county,
against any change in the scoop line of Fishing Bay,

Which was read and referred to the Dorchester delegation.

Mr. Mackey presented the petition of Robert Lynch and
eighty other citizens of Cecil county, praying the passage of
an Act giving to the County Commissioners the right to sell
out at public auction the collection of the several taxes of the
several districts of said county.

Which was read and referred to the Cecil delegation.

Mr. Hodson presented the petition of Col. Wallace and
others, against a Fence Law.

Which was read and referred to the Dorchester delegation.
On motion of Mr. Gordy,

Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation to intro-
duce a bill to prohibit trespassing with dog or gun upon pri-
vate land in Dorchester county, and prescribe penalties
therefor.

On motion of Mr. Brace,

Leave was granted to the Allegany delegation to introduce
a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 138, of Article 26, of
the Code of Public General Laws, as enacted at January ses-
sion, 1868, chapter 471, entitled "Corporations," sub-title
