The Secretary of the Senate returned the following House
bills,

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 5 and 6
of the Act of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
January session, 1872, chapter 212, entitled an Act to pro-
vide for taking a vote for or against a new county, in certain,
election districts in Allegany county, at the election to be
held in the fall of 1874, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
Also,
The House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Archbishop of Baltimore to convey to the School Com-
missioners of Dorchester county, and their successors, a cer-
tain parcel of land, together with the buildings thereon, as
also to authorize the School Commissioners of said county to
receive a deed therefor.
Also,
The House bill entitled an Act to prevent the killing or
trapping of grouse in Kent county, until the 20th day of
October, 1878.
