On motion of Mr. Colton,

The House then proceeded to the consideration of the Senate
bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to pay
William Knabe & Co., for one seven and one-third octave
grand piano, supplied the Executive Mansion on the 7th of
February, 1870,

Which had failed to pass for want of a constitutional ma-
jority.

The question recurring upon the passage of the same,
