Which was read aad referred to the Wicomico delegation
And Mr. Sudler.

Mr. Nicodemus submilted the following order:

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal, that if Mr.
Nicodemus had been present on last Friday evening, he
would have voted in the negative on Mr. Turner's proposi-
tion to postpone the Local Option Bill until the 6th of April;
also, on Mr. Fenton's motion to lay the motion to reconsider
said vote on the table.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Dawson submitted the following order:

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal, that if Mr.
Dawson had been present on last Friday evening, he would
have voted in the negative on Mr. Turner's proposition to
postpone the Local Option Bill until the 6th of April; also,
on Mr. Fenton's motion to lay the motion to reconsider said
vote on the table.

On motion of Mr. Vanderford,

Leave was granted to the Carroll delegation to introduce a
bill to create a new election district in Carroll county, to be
tnown as "District No. 13."

On motion of Mr. Colton,

Leave was granted to the St. Mary'sdelegation and Mr. Lan-

caster, of Charles, to introduce a bill to refund to Rev. John
B. DeWolf, the sum of $14.43, being an amount of taxes
paid in error.

On motion of Mr. McCosker,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to abolish toll-gates and toll-bridges in the
State of Maryland.

On motion of Mr. Etchison,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill authorizing the County Commissioners of Prince

George's county to subscribe to the capital stock of the
Washington City and Point Lookout Rail Road.

On motion of Mr. Brace,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill authorizing a reduction of the capital stock

of the New Central Coal Company.

On motion of Mr. Koons,
Leave was granted to the Montgomery delegation to in-
