The House proceeded to the consideration of the unfinished
business of the 10th instant,

Being,

The bill entitled an Act to suppress intemperance, and to
permit the voters of the City of Baltimore, and of each county
in the State of Maryland, to vote on the question of granting
licenses to sell intoxicating liquors.

Said bill being upon a second reading,

Mr. Watkins moved that the further consideration thereof
be postponed, and that the House proceed to the considera-
tion of the Revenue Bill No. 28.

The question recurring upon the concurring in the motion,

Mr. Park demanded the yeas and nays.
