On motion of Mr. Maclin,

Leave was granted to the Howard delegation and Mr.
Matthews, to introduce a bill to regulate the building of
joint fences in Howard county.

On motion of Mr. Leonard,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Leonard, Bedsworth and
Sudler, to introduce a bill changing the voting place in the
7th district of Wicomico county.

On motion of Mr. Staylor,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to compel employers, whether corporations,
body politic or individuals, to pay their employees their
wages weekly, if demanded, &c.

On motion of Mr. Seth,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Seth, Lee, Brown, McWil-
liams and McAleese, to introduce a bill to repeal and re-en-
act, with amendments, the Act passed at the January session.
1872 chapter 244, relating to the appointment of Weighers
of Grain.

On motion of Mr. Freaner,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill to pay the claim of L. F. Colton & Co.,
for publishing the Public School Report, as per order of the
Governor, for the year 1872.

On motion of Mr. Wack,

Leave was granted to the Allegany delegation to intro-
duce a bill to amend the charter to incorporate the town of
Frostbnrg, Maryland

Mr. Stake, Chairman of the Committee on Inspections, to
whom had been referred.

The bill entitled an Act to regulate the inspection and
measurement, and to license lumber dealers in the City of
Baltimore, reported the same with proposed amendment.

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Provided, That nothing in this Act shall be made to apply
to any lumber counted or inspected in the town of Port De-
posit, and brought to the City of Baltimore.

Which was read.

Mr. Nutwell, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported without amendment,
