Mr. Bedsworth presented the petition of sixty-six citizens
of Trappe District, Wicomico county, against the passage of
»» Act changing their place of voting in said district.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Bedsworth, Leon-
ard and Sudler.

Mr. Williams presented the petition of Wm. S. Prouse,
Charles G. Flaharty and twenty-five other citizens of Feder-
alsburg, praying the passage of an Act incorporating the
said town.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Williams, Daw-
son and Gfordy.

Mr. Seth submitted the following order:

Ordered, That Mr. Keech, of Baltimore county, be allowed
leave of absence to-morrow, (Saturday,) on account of im-
portant business engagements.

Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Greenfield,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a bill entitled an Ac.t to authorize the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to purchase, at its discretion, the
property of the Western Maryland Rail Koad Company, and
to issue the bonds of the City of Baltimore, in order to pro-
Tide for the payment money for said purchase,

Mr. Miller submitted the following order:

Ordered, That Mr. Brace be granted leave of absence un-
til Tuesday next.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Wack submitted the following order:

Ordered, That Mr. Wack be permitted to withdraw Bill
No. 207 from the House file.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Miller submitted the following order:

Ordered, That Mr. Nicodemus be granted leave of absence
until Tuesday next, to attend to important business.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Matthews,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a bill to authorize the Commissioners of Baltimore
county to appropriate a sum of money to erect a gas-house
and pest-house.
